My main area of expertise is thyroid disease but my clinical practice includes all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology. You may want to see a video of me talking about this - just click here.
I frequently see referrals and manage some of the less frequently occurring conditions such as thyroid cancer; pituitary conditions such as acromegaly; and adrenal disorders including Addison's disease, plus calcium and bone disorders.
I have published on various aspects of thyroid disease, written a book on the subject and am the current President of the British Thyroid Association. I am a Trustee of the British Thyroid Foundation.
Much of my time is spent in teaching and lecturing nationally and internationally. I also undertake medico-legal work within my speciality.
